The GJYXFCH cable is a type of self-supporting FTTH (Fiber to the Home) drop cable designed for both outdoor aerial and indoor cabling applications. It is known for its simple structure, light weight, and ease of installation and splicing.



Characteristics
---Self-supporting structure: The cable includes an additional single steel wire as a messenger or strength member, allowing it to withstand tension during aerial installation without needing extra support structures. Strength members: It incorporates two parallel Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) rods, or sometimes metal/KFRP, to provide excellent crush resistance and protect the fiber cores. ---Low-bend sensitivity fiber: The cable uses special low-bend-sensitivity fiber (G.657A1/A2 or G.652D) to ensure high bandwidth and excellent transmission properties even with small bending radii. LSZH jacket: It typically features a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket, making it flame-retardant and safe for indoor use in case of a fire. ---UV and water resistance: The black outer sheath offers UV resistance for outdoor exposure, and dry yarns or gel-filled construction help block water ingress.
